Drawing upon more than 30 years of wealth management experience, Ken Mathieson is the managing director of Laidlaw Asset Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor affiliated with Laidlaw & Co., that is based in New York. Ken Mathieson was a founding partner of the firm, which began operations in 2017, and previously served as founding partner and managing director of Steward Partners Global Advisory.

Mr. Mathieson also spent 15 years as a senior vice president at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and 12 years as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities. In addition to providing clients with investment advice, he has extensive experience helping them achieve their financial goals through corporate retirement plans, estate planning, and the establishment of endowments and foundations. He is also well-versed in banking and lending services, as well as philanthropic services.

Prior to pursuing a career in wealth management, Ken Mathieson obtained an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He also holds a bachelor's degree in marine transportation from State University of New York Maritime College.
